Scope of this notice
This Privacy Notice explains how Finoveda handles personal data when you visit finoveda.com, submit the diagnostic form or communicate with us about a potential engagement. Finoveda determines why and how this information is used for those activities.
Client records created after a formal engagement begins may also be covered by the engagement letter, professional obligations and service-specific notices. If those terms differ for engagement records, the more specific terms apply to that processing.
Information we collect
Information you provide. The diagnostic form asks for your name, work email, company, company stage, area of interest and a short description of what you need. A telephone number is optional.
Communications. If you contact us or continue the conversation, we keep the messages, attachments and contact history needed to understand and respond to the enquiry.
Basic technical information. Our hosting and security infrastructure may process request time, IP address, browser or device type, referring page and similar logs needed to deliver, diagnose and protect the Website.
Finoveda does not currently offer user accounts or payments through the Website, and does not use advertising or cross-site behavioural tracking cookies.
How we use information
We use personal data for clear, limited business purposes:
- to receive, review and respond to your diagnostic request;
- to understand your company’s stage, needs and suitable Finoveda capabilities;
- to arrange calls, prepare a proposal and manage pre-engagement checks;
- to maintain an accurate record of enquiries and communications;
- to operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Website; and
- to meet legal, regulatory, professional or dispute-resolution requirements.
We do not sell personal data or use diagnostic submissions for third-party advertising.
Permission and fair processing
When you deliberately submit the form, you ask Finoveda to review the information and contact you. We process that information to respond to your request, take steps toward a potential engagement, protect the Website and comply with applicable obligations.
You can withdraw a request or object to further enquiry-related contact at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed and may not require deletion of records we must keep under applicable law or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
How an enquiry moves
- 01You submit
The encrypted web request carries the fields shown on the diagnostic form to our application.
- 02Resend delivers
Our transactional email provider, Resend, converts the submission into an email for authorised Finoveda recipients.
- 03Our team responds
A Finoveda team member reviews the context and follows up using the contact details you supplied.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only while it is reasonably needed to handle the conversation, maintain appropriate business records, manage an engagement or proposed engagement, meet legal or professional obligations, and resolve potential disputes.
Retention depends on the nature of the record, whether an engagement proceeds and any legal hold or statutory period that applies. When information is no longer required, we delete it, securely dispose of it or anonymise it so that it no longer identifies an individual.
How we protect it
Finoveda uses proportionate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. These include encrypted transmission, restricted recipient access, input validation, anti-spam controls and provider access controls.
If we identify a personal-data breach, we will investigate, contain and document it and make notifications where applicable law requires them.
Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to provide information about how we process your personal data, correct or update inaccurate information, erase information that is no longer required, withdraw consent, or address a grievance. Where the law provides it, you may also nominate another person to exercise rights on your behalf.
Email info@finoveda.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. Tell us what you are asking for and identify the email address used in your enquiry. We may request reasonable verification before acting and will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Children’s data
The Website is designed for founders, operators and business representatives and is not directed to children. A person under 18 should not submit personal data through the diagnostic form. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
External sites
The Website may link to websites operated by regulators, professional bodies or other third parties. Their privacy practices are outside Finoveda’s control, so you should review the notice provided by the relevant operator before sharing information with it.
Updates to this notice
We may update this Notice when our Website, providers, services or applicable requirements change. The date shown at the top identifies the current version. If a change materially affects how an existing enquiry is handled, we will take reasonable steps to communicate it where required.
Contact and grievances
For a privacy request, question or grievance, email info@finoveda.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. Include enough information for us to identify the relevant interaction and understand the outcome you want.
We will acknowledge and review the request, involve the appropriate person, and communicate the outcome or next step. You may also use any complaint or remedy available to you under applicable law.
